Executive Director Emeritus and Senior Consultant David Leven will be presenting on a panel called “Ethical Challenges and the End of Life” as part of three day conference – “Age and Longevity in the 21st Century: Science, Policy, and Ethics,” sponsored by Global Bioethics Initiative (GBI) and University of Zagreb School of Medicine, Andrija Stampar School of Public Health. This conference offers a unique opportunity to call attention to the impact of new technologies on the global profile of aging and longevity.
End of Life Choices New York Executive Director Emeritus and Senior Consultant David Leven will be participating on a “Ethical Challenges and the End of Life” panel along with Dr. Sarah Egan of Hospice of New York and Corinne Carey of Compassion and Choices. The panel discussion is April 14th from 11:25am to 1:15pm at the Cornell Club of New York.
The conference is open to leaders in biotech and pharmaceutical companies, not for profit organizations, scientists, policy-makers, academics, students, activists, medical professionals and the general public with an interest in learning about aging and longevity issues.
