What is it like to consider Medical Aid in Dying?
Medical Aid in Dying lets terminally ill people in New York State request and take prescription drugs to shorten the time to death. The law has safeguards to help make sure that people understand their choices and are acting on their own. Patients can consider medical aid in dying up until the point they ingest the medication.
With New York State joining a number of other states already offering Medical Aid in Dying, this peer support group welcomes those in New York State and across the country who want to share experiences, find community together, and give and get support with others who are on the same journey. This group meets virtually once a month on the first Tuesday of each month from 3-4pm EST. Register for your free ticket and Zoom link to join.
