“What Matters: Caring Conversations at the End of Life” Facilitators Training
January 23 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Executive Director Laurie Leonard will be providing a training for the facilitators of the What Matters program. What Matters: Caring Conversations About End of Life is a collaboration between JCC Manhattan and other organizations that builds upon Respecting Choices, a program with proven success nationwide. This effort aims to heighten awareness about the importance of completing advance care directives and enable individuals to thoughtfully consider and document their end of life preferences—with opportunities to engage Jewish values as part of the process. Trained and certified facilitators walk individuals through the process and encourage them to discuss their wishes with family members, loved ones, and physicians.
This event is not open to the public.
